Brianna Earle, who had served as Gov. Phil Murphy’s deputy chief of staff for outreach, has joined Novartis as an associate director for state government affairs covering the northeastern U.S.

Earle had been at Novo Nordisk from 2023 until leaving recently to join Novartis.

In 2018, she joined the Murphy administration as director of public engagement after serving as operations director for the 2017 Democratic coordinated campaign. Earle became part of the governor’s senior staff in 2022 following Deb Cornavaca’s departure to the New Jersey Education Association, taking on the role of Murphy’s liaison to labor unions, advocacy organizations, faith leaders, and community groups.

Earle began her political career as a part-time organizer with SEIU 32BJ and as an intern for New Jersey Working Families. In 2012, she served as the deputy Latino base vote director for the New Jersey Democratic State Committee and later worked on the communications team for the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters. Before joining the 2017 campaign, Earle was a senior associate at Kivvit, one of the state’s leading public affairs firms.
